OLEKSIY PETUKHOV with the new jazz program FASCINATING RHYTHM Viktora Kosenka 26 Street

Renowned Ukrainian jazz pianist and composer Oleksiy Petukhov (Odesa) will perform a solo concert in Zhytomyr on September 30, featuring his new program FASCINATING RHYTHM.

The maestro has given more than 10 concerts in Zhytomyr with various ensembles. Each of Oleksiy Petukhov's jazz programs captivates listeners with original compositions, psychological portraits, nature-inspired pieces, and his own interpretations of jazz standards, classical music, and popular themes. It's always a wonderful opportunity to dive into modern, emotional jazz, where Petukhov, as a brilliant improviser and interpreter, unveils a vivid world of emotions and imagery for his audience.

Oleksiy Petukhov is one of Ukraine's finest and most original jazz musicians. He has collaborated with international jazz stars such as Gregory Porter, Karl Frierson, Ray Brown Jr., Chanda Rule, Gregory Boyd, Kevin Mahogany, Allan Harris, and many others.

As a bonus for the audience, Petukhov will host a jam session with local Zhytomyr musicians, open to improvisation and musical experiments—together with the whole audience!
